Exploding Doughnut turns nine today!!
This is only mildly distracting, right?
It seems like a small thing to celebrate these days since I don't blog as often as I once did.
I'm still grateful to have this space exist though, even if for just an occasional post here and there.
And thank all of you for continuing to see my story unfold. I wouldn't be here this many years without everyone's support along the way. You ROCK!!

Just a day or two ago I was thinking about how infrequently you blog now. I hoped it meant somehow that you felt less of a need to vent, in other words that you're happier now. I certainly hope you are happier than you were at times in the past.
Still, I'm glad you haven't given up altogether, and I hope you'll stick around for another nine and then some, because I care about you and like to hear how you're doing and what's going on with you.

I think my infrequent blogging is a combination of things:
Blogging isn't as big as it used to be so sometimes I feel I'm posting for one or two people nowadays.
I'm working three part-time jobs. The creative side of things (art/writing/blogging) often get pushed to the backburner.
And yes, while I still have depressive episodes, I feel mentally "calmer" or perhaps too busy/distracted with work to truly experience depression like I once did. It's all still there, I just don't have the free time/energy to let it fester and take on a life of its own (if that makes sense).
