One of those milestones.

I never expected to be there this long but here I am.

Today marks my four-year anniversary working at the crafts store.

I still feel like quitting everyday I have to go in but am thankful to have a job and proud to have lasted in one place for so long.

It's one of those milestones that depresses me more than anything though.

But it is what it is…for now.

Me at work this week.

It is always awesome when you love your job. I wish I can say the same.

You're adorable!

I just had a milestone at work, too, and I also have mixed feelings about it. But, as you say, it is what it is. There are worse things to have than the same job for a long time.

I'm gonna say it again. A-dor-a-ble!!!

Congratulations! I am proud of you, Dean, and you have every reason to be proud of yourself, too. Is it the sort of position or store that has a career ladder? Stranger things have happened to the people I love. Cheers!

It hardly seems like four years since you were writing about starting there. It's good that you've had it to provide some income and give you a workplace with some nice people who like you.

Nice pic, by the way.

Anima Yaoi!

Um, look over my older blogposts about work.

I do not like that job very much!

You're making me blush!

Randy, the only real room for advancement is to become a manager there--which I'd never do.

The pay is too little and the stress way too high. Just wouldn't be worth it to me.

I can't stand that job most days under my current role. Becoming a manager would multiply all of that by ten!

I know, right? Four years have come and gone!

Not sure if me being there for four years is a good thing or a bad thing. Most days I feel like I'm stuck and trapped there.

If you check out past blogposts about the crafts store, you'll see pics of the ever-changing lanyard I wear at work.

But yes, I'm currently sporting beads and the flower. Come Christmas-time, it'll be more elaborate!

Everyone's congratulatory comments are greatly appreciated!
