Maybe it's a sign.
I came across this the other day while preparing the deposit for the arts-and-crafts store I work at.....
It's a penny with a cross cut out at the center!
We'll occasionally find messages about Christ and "the evils of money" written on actual dollar bills but this is a first.
How did they make such small and precise cuts?
I'm calling it the J.C. Penny...not to be confused with JCPenney.
It was too unique to send off to the bank so I took it home instead.
Got Jesus? Why, yes I do!

Dean, beware of magical thinking. It distracts you from rational examination and actions. In the end, chance will always play a role in our lives, but it's no substitute for free-will and personal responsibility.
Randuwa!
Perhaps life is a combination of free-will and chance.

I like to think there is no such thing as a coincidence. The penny caught your attention and you decided it was worth keeping. It sure is precisely done. I sure smiled when you made the JCPenny remark...cool!
Got Jesus? Yup, nothing wrong with that.
Stan!
Thank you, sir!

"Got Jesus?" - Priceless (or penniless should I say?)
:)
I'm grateful for this article. It challenged me to ask myself a similar question: Still got Jesus?
Happy to find out that, yes, I still do. Not in the focal point thought, but rather in the corner of my eye and at the base of my mind. Don't need to analyze and study him anymore, he's simply there.
Puzz TM!
Amen to that!
I currently have the Jesus Penny in my little drawing room and pass by it whenever I go to create some art.
