Heartbreak flowers.....

I'm heartbroken, sad, and alone.

That can only mean one thing...it's time to buy myself flowers!

I bought these over the weekend.

A cheerful mix including lilies, roses, mums, and carnations to get me through this dark period.

But God doesn't give us more than we can handle, right?

At least that's how the saying goes.

*sigh*

The flowers are certainly beautiful.

God doesn't give us more than we can handle. But being able to handle something is not the same thing as enjoying it. In hindsight, we may be pleased that we were able to handle it.

Please try to focus a bit more on what you have, and a bit less on what you don't have. For example, you posted pictures of an evaporating heart on a bench on a friend's back porch. Well, the heart evaporated, and you draw the vivid allegory. But how about the fact that you have this friend on whose back porch you can sit in the shade?

My thoughts and prayers are with you dear Dean. Maybe heartbroken but you sure know how to pick a delightful and colourful bouquet. I hope you feel a surge of glee every time you look at it.
God doesn't give us more than we can handle - that is true but when there are times of questions and not so clear direction, it can sure seem a heavy struggle. Hang in there, believe that better things are coming. You are worth it.

I'm sorry you are going through such a hard time, so just wanted you to know from an anonymous fan that you make an impact (positively!) on my life. Sending you happy thoughts; hang in there, dude!!!!

Life throws us these experiences because they make us better all rounded people, we all go throw this, so know that you aren't alone in this.

Look around to those who have reached out to you - You might be surprised if you give them a chance.

naturgesetz!

The "friend" in that post is the guy that recently broke up with me.

He wanted us to be friends so I'm trying to be that for him. I often refer to him now as my ex or as just a friend.
