You're close, Bob!

I saw these gloves while walking from work and what caught my eye about them--besides being new and abandoned--was that they were this intense, bright orange.

It was like a little burst of color on the sidewalk and I HAD to take a picture of it!

They were doing construction around that area earlier in the day and someone must've dropped their gloves.

I appreciate you both sharing your thoughts with me!

Your picture put my mind into gear because in two weeks I will be abandoning my old steel-toed work boots. Retirement is now my calling. I don't know what that is going to look like in the long run but I am looking forward to a change. Unlike those almost new looking gloves my boots do not compare and I will not miss them, at all, never, ever :)!
So neat to see what your eye catches as you go and come home from work and on any other excursion. Just thinking that walking actually gives one many more opportunities to catch these things, EH!

Happy Retirement to you!

This will be a new chapter in your life and I'm excited for you, sir!

But you didn't take them home???

They look very serviceable.

Ha, you're not the first person to ask me that.

I didn't take the gloves home because the person who dropped them earlier that day might've come back for them (they looked brand new).

Plus, I just don't have a need for industrial work gloves. I'm an artist not a construction worker!
