Magic paper!

From the corner of my eye I saw them.

Twinkling at me as I'd walk past....almost as if saying hello. Mesmerizing me with their sparkling color.

One perk of working at an arts-and-crafts store is getting to see all the new merchandise before anyone else.

We've gotten a lot of specialty papers in lately.

Glitter paper in even more colors than before.

Metallic mirror paper in red, blue, purple, silver, and gold.

And best of all, prismatic paper, which when tilted back and forth appears to move!

You read that right.

Paper. That. Moves.

Whoa!!

I was worried some weirdo would snatch them all up (our store only orders small batches at a time) so I went ahead and bought almost the entire supply!

All mine!

When I showed my coworkers all these wonderful papers they asked what I was going to do with them.

I don't know just yet but it WILL come to me. And when the idea hits I'll be armed, ready, and fully stocked!

Let the magic begin!

"Some" weirdo? Like how could they have even stood a fair chance? I love your passion!

Someone is stoked about the possibilities entailed in his most recent acquisitions; Oh Yeah, that's you! Couldn't say it better, "let the magic begin!" Haven't heard you so excited in a post as you are this time. Go Dean...

I love them. This picture, alone, is gorgeous! So, they've already made one piece of art!

You can always wrap a nice gift in them. :-)

I would be interested to see what the final result will be. Post up when you're inspired!

That sounds almost like insider trading. LOL

These papers are amazing and I would have done the same thing... and then I'd worry I'd soon be on an episode of "Hoarders"!

Paper use suggestion.
Origami!
Origami boxes could be especially cool. Neat colors with storage ability too! (I really like the triangle ones I made.)
Otherwise hope all is well with you and yours!
Later,
GayHermit

Marty!

Agreed!

Randuwa!

I guess I ended up becoming that weirdo, Randy!

Stan!

Go me!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
JuJu!
They're a bit too thick to wrap presents in but they would totally add some pizazz to a gift box!
tamayn!
It may be a while before something is created with all of these papers but I'll definitely show what I come up with!
naturgesetz!
Shhhh, don't tell anyone.
Mitchell is Moving!
Better to have too many (craft supplies) than too little, right Mitch?
GayHermit!
I like the idea of turning these colorful papers into something three-dimensional.
We shall see!
I appreciate all of you chiming in here!
Awesome scrapbook?
Kristen!
I'm not much of a scrapbooker though. I was thinking of using these papers for my future Mail Art projects.
