I'm talking about Chicago which turns 175 years-old this very day!
Being born and raised in the Windy City, I couldn't be prouder.
Happy Birthday, my love. You don't look a day over 150!
*mwah!*

As they said when I was there in the 1970's —
Have a great Chicago!
I adore your city!!!
It was warmer in the Chicago than here in LA today!!! Anyways, grew up in Hoffman Estates, but I while I love it here, I do miss it. Sigh

David!
Have you ever been back to Chicago since? I'm wondering what you'd think of all the changes to the Windy City nowadays.

My town grew as a crossroads on an old plant road in 1796. It is small but beautiful. It has its idiosyncrocies. It does not look a day over 203 years old.
Really, it does not look a day over 70. They razed most of the distinctive downtown buildings after WWII to modernize the look.
Dean!
All towns and cities have their own unique charm.
