No art.

I wish I could say I'm working on the most AMAZING painting. Filled with every color imaginable. Texture and shape and form that dazzles the eye and makes your heart skip a beat.

But no. There isn't time for that.

I'm too tired from working so much. It's just not possible right now.

So my apologies, dear readers. I feel like I'm letting all of you down by not posting anything of artistic value here.

One day, I hope, I can immerse myself back into my art.

I hope so too.

It must be frustrating for you to not be able to paint ~ and a real shame as I'm guessing it would be a good stress release for you too! But I don't think you need to feel bad for not posting anything artistic though...I'm sure your readers understand that you are working yourself to the bone right now...

Hopefully, one day you will be able to devote a huge chunk of time to your artwork and just a tiny amount to your day jobs... :o)

The most important thing is for you to post when you can. We're friends here, you owe us nothing! :-)

I hope you'll get a chance to breathe soon!

Oh crap, Dean, don't put more pressure on yourself by worrying about pleasing your entire blog audience. Just share what you feel like sharing, which is always of interest. The art will come whenever you're ready.

I love the crossed our "art". It is art!

And I'll still be here, looking forward to it. Even the seed of the most beautiful flower must spend time in the soil before it can sprout.

It's all okay. :)

Nope, not a let down at all. The fact that you have posted at all means that all your creativity is not taking a rest!

The painting will come!

Even your words are art. :-)

I hope so too! The muse will come back if you leave her some milk and cookies, I think. :)

I am in the same club at the moment.
Art and posts are few and far between!
Having electricity and groceries is pretty nice too though, so I'm going to plug along and pay my bills so I can do more art later.

I posted a comment yesterday, Dean, but I don't see it. So I'll try again.

I'm too tired and I don't even work ONE job!

Please don't feel you have to apologize to anyone for the fact that you haven't created any art recently. You sure don't need the added pressure of trying to please "us"! I simply enjoy reading your posts and seeing the art you have created. When new stuff comes, I look forward to seeing that too! But do it for you, not for me.

The thoughts you manifest into textual words is art. That's how I perceive it at least. No worries, Dean, you're not letting any of us down. :)
