I got home from my trip last night.
I'm back in Chicago now but wish I was still in Kentucky.
I think the title of this post says it all.

I literally jumped up and yelled when I read that post. I'm so glad, Dean. Even if it's not a person, (I'm not sure, since you didn't exactly elaborate. You may as well be in love with the state, though I doubt it) I'm so PROUD OF YOU!
I might have offered congratulations, if it weren't for your deep sigh.
I might have asked if the love was eros, philia, or agape if that didn't seem too prying.
But it seems that you enjoyed the trip, so I'm glad that the change was enjoyable while it lasted. Most of us have to spend most of our time going to and from work (until we retire — and even then we settle into a daily routine), so it's good to take advantage of the chance to get away for some rest and relaxation. Hopefully, now that you've had this vacation and found it worthwhile, it won't be another nine years before you take another one. Make it an annual event.
and to think you both were so nervous...hehee
