Love this! (I stumbled over here from Bouncin' Barb's blogroll) I am a lover of visual found poetry. Poetic graffiti like this makes my heart sing and my head think. In fact, sometimes I wish more people walked around with a piece of chalk, and scribbled simple messages like this on the pavement, on lampposts, on steps and curbs, so many possibilities. Thanks for sharing your WW. Glad to be here as your newest follower. Cheers! - G
I was in Chicago in the spring of 2009. I still dream of Chicago at night, and that new chicago cop show always makes me want to drop everything and go to chicago!
PS I'll probably steal the Wordless Wednesday idea for my blog =)

"Exploding Doughnut" represents working uninspired jobs while creating a career in art and "Suffering Sappho!" is all about my passion for comic books (read my first posts for full details!).
Thanks to everyone for reading and seeing what I've posted.

Enjoy!

Have you heard "The Heart of the Matter" by Don Henelys/The Eagles? The picture made me think of it....
Maybe somebody has been paying attention at Mass these past couple of Sundays.
I see this and it makes me wonder about the person who wrote it. Are they asking to be forgiven, or are they telling themselves to forgive?
What do you think?
it's like a nose and smiling lower lip
of a giant troll, with 'forgive' his
jetting out teeth.
i like it!
Always good advice.

JuJu!
Perhaps a bit of both. Maybe the person is asking for forgiveness while reminding others to forgive.

to forgive is a gift one gives to themselves.
