We've been getting really bad storms in Minneapolis too. Very stormy summer!

Ominous, but beautiful. Weather like that makes me want to curl up on the sofa with a blanket and pillow and watch old movies.

The last picture kinda looks like a person sitting down (facing right) and looking as something in their hands.

The clouds are fascinating, and in a couple of the pictures the top branches seem to be bent by the wind.

wow...those are cool. I especially like the one with the street lamp.

Great storm clouds! There's something about watching a storm unfold that is so fascinating, yet frightening all at once. I wonder what it is that draws us to the obvious and potentially present danger of storms??!!??

madtexter!

I definitely see a hand in the last pic but not a face, Corey!

naturgesetz!

I think you're seeing the branches bending by the strong winds. It was windy that night!

Jason!

Yay!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rick!
I guess the creative desire to capture the beauty is stronger than the fear of being put in danger!
The feedback from all of you gentlemen is greatly appreciated!
SHeesh! Those clouds are SO low!! I love the randomness of this blog, Dean. It's a wonderful place to come to. (Too cute your excitement over a dental bag!)
Mighty fierce looking storm, those clouds look ominous. Good captures of them nonetheless. Yup, see an arm and hand in the last picture.
I love thunder, had some the other night, shook the windows!
Very dramatic skies! They would have been very useful here as we had the hottest week of the year!
