Early-mid April is the perfect time to visit! The weather is still mild and the tourists haven't overtaken the city yet.

The statue is of a wood nymph. During the summer, flowering vines climb up her base and overtake her torso! So cool!

The city plants tulips EVERYWHERE in the main downtown areas here in Chicago. I just had to see them bloom this year!

Beautiful Dean, Tulips have faded in DC weeks ago now, even the azaleas are heading into memory....and it's not even May. Climate change? Duh!
