I love the picture of the lit trees lining the trees with the beautiful blue sky as a backdrop! That is truly frame-worthy!

Loved the "brown and gray" post and these are happy photos! You gave me a new perspective on winter (my least favorite season :( )

A Merry Christmas, Dean, to you and your loved ones!

Happy Holidays to you as well!!

I'm a little disappointed in it. In previous years, the Art Institute Lions were adorned with REAL evergreen wreaths during the Christmas season.

The current wreath isn't as wonderful IMHO!

That is a shot of the famous Michigan Avenue!

You're right. Chicago DOES rock!

Most big cities will keep their decorations up until after Christmas. So get out there and take some pictures, silly!

Thanks for taking a look and for the kind words!

My, you do know your Chicago, now don't you?

The same to you, my friend!!

May you have a wonderful 2010 too! Love YOUR blog and YOUR work!

How can you not like the Christmas season?! Hopefully this will be a great one for you!

A happy and safe holidays to ALL of you!!

Always love the holiday windows at the Marshall Field's (cough cough...."Macy's on State Street").

Have a great holiday, Dean.

I appreciate that, Corey!

The same to you!!

They're yours if you can lift them and haul them away by hand! *(~_^)

The Art Institute might not be too happy about it though!

Poor old Marshall Field's!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Thanks to everyone for looking at my festive photos!

Merry late Christmas! I love that lion: is that outside a museum or a library?

A belated Merry Christmas to you too!

There are two lions actually. They sit outside the entrance of the Art Institute on Michigan in Chicago!
